Peace Palliative Care Society is a registered charitable volunteer organization, serving the communities of Peace River, Grimshaw, Berwyn, Dixonville, St. Isadore, Nampa, Woodland Cree, Little Buffalo and surrounding areas. Our Light Up A Memory Campaign has been a Peace area tradition since 1992 and runs annually from November 15th to December 31st. During this time, you can remember and honor your loved ones by donating a minimum of $10.00 (per name) to our Light Up a Memory Campaign which will allow for their name(s) to be publicly displayed within the Peace area and on our social media platforms.
Money raised through the Light Up a Memory Campaign stays in our community and goes toward enhancing the comfort and quality of life for palliative care patients and their families; through purchasing much needed medical equipment, comforting aids, supplies and incidentals; to providing compassionate, emotional and financial support to palliative patients and their families, as well as assisting with training costs for Palliative Care education for frontline staff.
We appreciate the ongoing support and assistance over the years with our Light Up a Memory Campaign that has allowed us to provide continuing support to the communities we serve, as well as ensures our services remain available for you, your families, friends and communities!
